A new chapter for Malta Trot Racing

On 6 February 2008, MaltaTrotRacing.com went online for the very first time.

What started as a small website built around a shared passion for Maltese trotting gradually became a place where racing followers could find results, horse and driver information, photos, statistics and a growing archive of the sport in Malta.

Since then, a lot has changed.

The internet certainly has. The way we use websites has. Phones have become the main way many people browse online, technology has moved forward enormously, and Malta Trot Racing itself has grown to contain almost two decades of racing information.

The website, however, remained largely the same.

Until now.

Almost 19 years after its original launch, we are very happy to introduce the first major rebuild of MaltaTrotRacing.com.

The new website has been rebuilt from the ground up, with a completely new design, faster performance and a much better experience across desktop, tablet and mobile.

While the look and technology behind the website are new, the purpose remains the same: to provide a dedicated online home for Malta's trotting community.

You can still follow upcoming races and results, browse horses and drivers, check standings, view photos and videos and explore historical racing information but everything should now be easier, faster and more enjoyable to use.

Looking back, it is quite remarkable to think that a website first launched in 2008 is still here nearly 19 years later.

Over that time, Malta Trot Racing has built up a large archive of local trotting history, covering countless races, horses and drivers. We are proud to have been able to preserve and share that information throughout the years, and this new website gives us the foundation to continue doing so for many more.

We would also like to thank everyone who has visited, followed and supported Malta Trot Racing over the years especially those who have been using the website since the early days.

This update represents a fresh start for the website, but it is far from the finished product.

We already have more ideas in development and plenty more we want to add.
